English – write a descriptive snow poem or snow story.

There is a choice for the title for the story

1. Lost in the Snow (should include description of how they get lost and what it felt like and what they had to do)
2. The Snowman (what its like to be a snowman and what it sees)

 

Science – experiment with snow and how it melts.

Put snow in different places/wrap it up in different materials to see how long it takes to melt. They need to use the same amount of snow in each place to make sure it is a fair test. They can then do a table of their results.

Research about snowflakes on the internet and have a go at drawing them.
