I am an advanced skills teacher and specialise in Accelerated Learning Strategies. In 2004 I was awarded teacher of the year for the North of England. I enjoy keeping fit and sharing time with my family.
Mrs J Bruck Advanced Skills Teacher I have worked at Birdwell as a teacher since 2002. My areas of responsibility are the arts and maths. I really enjoy the creative side of learning. My hobbies include cycling, music and dining out.
Miss C Stringer Teacher

I am the Science Leader and the Network Facilitator for Birdwell Primary School. I enjoy singing, sports and enjoy keeping fit by visiting the gym regularly.
Miss P Ellis Teacher I have been teaching at Birdwell since 2003, working in both Key Stage 1 and 2. I have specialised in Literacy and enjoy Drama. My hobbies include aqua aerobics and socializing with my friends.
Mr B Hussain Teacher

I am the P.E. Leader. My specialisms are P.E. and Information Communication Technology. My interests are bike riding, martial arts, tennis, squash, swimming and cricket.

Mrs S Priest Teacher I am the joint Literacy Leader with Miss Ellis and the Leader of the SEAL project. My favourite ares of the curriculum are literacy and history. My interests are football and I support Everton!!

I have worked at our school since 2000. I deliver intervention programmes and work mainly with Key Stage 2. My interests are music, theatre, cinema, gardening, reading and watching my son play rugby.

I have specialised and work in supporting children who have special educational needs, including those who are gifted and talented. I have also specialised in reading and ICT. I enjoy photography and my grandchildren.

I have been working at Birdwell since 2004. I support childrens learning and have also been the lunchtime play organizer. I enjoy reading, gardening and watching my children play football.
Mrs D Richardson Teaching Assistant I have worked for the local LEA since 1993 supporting children to access all areas of the curriculum. I enjoy sharing my love of arts and crafts with the pupils in the after school art club.
Mrs H Addy Teaching Assistant

I have worked as a teaching assistant at our school since 1999. I specialise in classroom displays. My hobbies are keeping fit, walking my dog and I enjoy supporting my childrens musical talents.

Mr A Crouch Teaching Assistant /Playleader I have been working at Birdwell school since April 2007, supporting Maths and the Reading Champions strategy. I also organise and deliver lunchtime games. I enjoy watching and taking part in a variety of sports.
Mrs M Rae Crossing Patrol/Cook I have worked at Birdwell school since 1993. My working day starts at 8.30 a.m. crossing the children safely across the road. My hobbies are reading and visiting places of interest.
